Cast

Kyrsten Bowman

Kyrsten is a senior English education major and Theatre minor at West Chester University. She has been an avid performer for over 10 years, participating in regional and community productions all over Pennsylvania. She currently resides in Stroudsburg and is working on finishing her degree and performing at local wineries. Her favorite quarantine past time is making music, as well as watching horror movies and eating cake with her sister. She’s so grateful to have been a part of the creation of Unmute Yourself and hopes everyone enjoys the show! 

Caroline Barr

Caroline Barr is a student at West Chester University with a Theater Major. She is 23 years old and has always been interested in theater, so she wanted to pursue a career in acting at WCU. She transfered to WCU in 2018 and has been able to perform in shows during her time at the university. Her involvement in theater let her jump into areas she had never tried before like, costumes, lighting, and stage design.

Leslie Monaco

Leslie Monaco (Actor) is ecstatic to be in her 3rd WCU Department of Theatre and Dance production! She is a 3rd Year Theatre Major with a Musical Theatre Concentration and a Dance Minor and is part of the University Dance Company and University Theatre. Her WCU credits include Fefu and Her Friends (Sue), the 19th and 20th Annual Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Benefit (Ensemble/Featured Dancer), the 2019 Student Written One Acts (Ensemble), and Progressions, a Dance Concert (Dancer). Leslie attended the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in January and was accepted to the Open Jar Institute in New York City for Summer 2021. She sends her love to the rest of the cast and production team for this fun and exciting experience, and hopes you enjoy the show!

Hope McGinnis

Hope is a sophomore Musical Theatre major and has been involved with theatre for as long as she can remember. Her favorite theatre memories at WCU are playing Janet in UT’s Rocky Horror Picture Show and playing Ilse in the short-lived but incredible ‘production’ of Spring Awakening. She is thrilled to have this opportunity to create theatre despite the distance and would like to say a special thank you to the production team of Unmute Yourself for uplifting the cast when this felt like an impossible feat. 

Logan Santana

Logan Santana is a junior theatre major with concentration in musical theatre and minor in American Sign Language. She has been a part of West Chester University Theatre since her freshman year as a chorus member in Antigone. Her most recent accomplishment leading the American Sign Language intrepretation and translation with the help of her professor, Charles McGowan, for A Soft Place to Land for 20th Annual AIDS Benefit.

Delaney Lindholm

Delaney Lindholm (she/her) is a 19-year-old actress from Enola, Pennsylvania. Her passion for theatre took off in sixth grade, performing in "Once on This Island" at the high school she would later attend. The role she most enjoyed playing was Rizzo in "Grease" as a freshman at Trinity High School. From attending acting camps as a child to walking runway for Girls' Life Magazine, she loves trying new things where there will be an audience.

Liz Powell

Liz is thrilled to be performing in the unique production of West Chester University Theatre’s Unmute Yourself. Her recent performing highlights include Shrek the Musical (Fiona), Footloose (Rusty), The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Columbia), and The Visit (Gymnast). Elizabeth is currently studying Music Theatre as well as Business Management at WCU. She can also be found dancing and choreographing for UDC. She would like to thank her family, friends, and professors for their endless support and love in her theatre career. Break legs to the talented cast of Unmute Yourself!

Luke Mundorf

Luke is a sophomore majoring in Middle Grades Preparation and minoring in Earth Sciences and Theatre. He is actively involved in the on-campus theater organization, University Theatre, and West Chester University’s chapter of Student Pennsylvania State Education Association where he is on the membership development committee. He is also a Student Community Service Ambassador for the College of Education & Social Work. He would like to thank the cast and crew for creating an incredible piece of theatre.

Christopher Mancaruso

Christopher Mancaruso is a Theatre Major with a Musical Theatre Concentration at West Chester University and is one of the fabulous members of the cast of Unmute Yourself. He is very excited to be a part of this journey into virtual theatre and believes that we have done this format justice. Other shows he has performed in during his time at college include Once Upon a Mattress, Romeo and Juliet, and The Stinky Cheese Man.

Nicholas "Thor” LeVasseur

Nicholas "Thor” LeVasseur is an actor, cosplayer, and carpenter who will be graduating from West Chester University with a B.A. in Theatre with a Concentration in Performance. During his time at West Chester University, Thor has appeared in productions such as The Visit (Roby) and Macbeth (Angus). He also has branched out and appeared in events such as WCU's AIDS Benefit. Thor, while currently in theatre, would love to appear in the commercial world, whether it be as a Screen or Voice Actor. While achieving these dreams, he finds enjoyment/employment working as a Set Carpenter. 

Kat Duncan

Kat Duncan (she/her) is a junior transfer student at WCU this semester. She has been performing ever since she was a little girl and is a classically trainer singer. Her past productions include Wizard of Oz, Once Upon a Mattress, Jekyll and Hyde, as well as performing and writing for several original works, including Make Democracy Great Again. She hopes our show brings you light in these dark times and that everyone remembers to treat themselves with compassion.

Sarah Ford

Sarah Ford is a junior Theatre major with a concentration in Musical Theatre and a minor in German. This is Sarah’s eighth production with the WCU Theatre Department, but her first virtual production! Sarah is a 3x Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship nominee and a member of the National Theatre Honor Society, APO. Sarah is also a member of the Irish Dance Team on campus. Thanks to her family, friends, cast, and crew!

Alex Harding

Alex Harding is thrilled to be in this show! His previous roles include Don Draper in the AMC TV series "Mad Men", Ted in "Bridesmaids", and Herb Overkill in the 2015 film "Minions". He has hosted NBC's Saturday Night Live 3 times, has 2 Golden Globe awards, and 1 Emmy. Lots of love to his family! Stream his music! @party_harding link in bio!

April Marion

April is excited to perform in her first virtual show! She most recently performed in Macbeth (Fleance/Lady Macduff) and was to be in Spring Awakening (Wendla) but the show never took place due to COVID.  She is a new student ambassador for the College of Arts and Humanities. She would like to thank Charlie, Alex, Olivia, Becs, the cast, and the crew for their support and perseverance of producing a work of art through these times of uncertainty. 

Erica Barnes

Erica Barnes is a singer, Irene Ryan nominated actor, playwright, and dancer who will be graduating from West Chester University with a B.A. in Theatre with minors in Creative Writing and Dance (2021). Among her career at West Chester University, her roles include: “Stepsister 1/Cow Head” (The Stinky Cheeseman & Other Fairly Stupid Tales), “Donalbain/Waiting Gentlewoman” (Macbeth), “Mrs. Ill/Citizen 3” (The Visit), and her latest, “Julie” (Unmute Yourself). Mom, this one’s for you.

Mia McDermott

Mia is a sophomore Theatre Major at WCU and has been involved with theatre since the 5th grade. Her previous performances at WCU include UT’s Rocky Horror Show and playing Anna in Spring Awakening that was unfortunately cancelled. Mia is so excited and grateful to be performing this semester being in a virtual setting and would like to give a huge thanks to everyone in the cast and production team for their hard work and coming together to create something so amazing!

Brandon Smith

Brandon H. Smith is currently a senior at West Chester University obtaining his BA in both History and Theater and a French Minor.
Brandon is originally from Milford, NJ way up north in the great beyond of the best state out of the other 50, but found it more convenient to attend school in PA for half the price! Brandon hopes you enjoy the show and all the hard work put together from the cast and crew! Go Birds!

Jenny Delorimier

Jenny Delorimier- Jenny is a first year and she is so excited to be a part of her first show here at West Chester! On stage Jenny has been seen in Tuck Everlasting (Dance Captain), Museum (Barbara Zimmer), Curtains (Dance Captain), 26 Pebbles (Kat), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Congregation), and Pride & Prejudice (Georgiana Darcy). Jenny was a member of the PMEA District 10 chorus and the International Thespian Society.

Aaron Kirk

Aaron Kirk is excited to be making his virtual debut with Unmute Yourself. Off the screen, and on the stage, Aaron has appeared in West Chester University’s productions of Friederich Durrenmatt’s The Visit, and Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Aaron would like to thank the rest of the cast, and the production team for all of the hard work they have put in for this show.

Cara Cashman

Cara Cashman is a freshman this year at West Chester University and Unmute Yourself is her first college play! She has participated in theater arts all throughout high school as well. She is majoring in Theater Arts and is excited for her future at West Chester University!

Kelly Donnelly

Kelly Donnelly (Meg) is a junior attending West Chester University. She has a major in Theatre with a concentration in Musical Theatre and a double minor in Dance and Music Production. During her time at West Chester, she has performed in The Visit as Koby/Woman #2, the 20th Annual AIDS Benefit as featured singer and dancer, and the University Dance Company’s Fall Dance Concert as a dancer. Kelly cannot wait to share Unmute Yourself with the public.

Clare McKernan

Clare McKernan is a third year B.A Theatre major with a concentration in Musical Theatre from Philadelphia, PA. Past WCU appearances include Third Witch in Macbeth, The Policeman in The Visit, and Shanice in Local Girls (KCACTF). Her heart goes out to every family affected by the disastrous COVID-19 Pandemic worldwide, as well as the families whose loved ones were victims of senseless police brutality in this country. No justice, no peace.

Caitlin Iannella

Caitlin Iannella is studying theatre and minoring in Deaf Studies at West Chester University. She is an aspiring theatre artist who wants to use her passion for theatre to inspire others. From on stage to off stage at WCU, Caitlin has played many roles (The Visit 2020) assistant director (20th Annual AIDS Benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS) and both stage manager (2020 Student Written One Acts)and assistant stage manager. (My Fair Lady 2018, Macbeth 2019).

Shane Wilson

Shane is thrilled to join the virtual cast of Unmute Yourself. Previous roles include Ernst (Spring Awakening, WDL), Kurt Kelly (Heathers, SLP), Ram Sweeney (Heathers, MST), Audrey II (Little Shop of Horrors, JTC), Brian (American Idiot, MST/WDL), and “We Beseech Thee” Apostle (Godspell, WDL). Shane is a member of the rock duo Enigmyst. He would like to thank the cast and creative team for putting so much heart into making this an incredible experience!  

Noah Glose

Noah is a sophomore Communication Major with a Digital Marketing & Theatre Minor. He was last seen on the stage last fall in Macbeth (King Duncan / Doctor), and earlier this year in The Visit (Bailiff / Ticket Inspector / Son). He is an Arts Ambassador for the College of Arts and Humanities at West Chester University. He is thrilled and grateful to be working alongside an amazing cast and crew for putting together this during these trying times.

Jesheidi Laporte

Jesheidi Laporte is excited to be in West Chester University's production of Unmute Yourself. Having done a lot of design, directing and dramaturgy work in the past, they were intrigued on seeing the other side as an actor and were delighted to be a part of an ensemble that worked together in discovering what virtual theatre is.

Ryan Snopek

Ryan Snopek has been involved with theatre since his freshman year of high school. In his time at WCU he has been involved in such productions as The Visit as The Priest, Rocky Horror Picture Show as Dr. Scott, as well as in the annual Student Written One Acts, Keep the Change as Bruce and Go Fish as Jason. Back home, he has been involved with the Schuylkill Free Shakespeare Theatre company based in Pottsville, PA, where his roles include Angus in Macbeth, Oswald in King Lear, First Watchman in Much Ado About Nothing and Alfred in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead.

Katie Flynn

Katie Flynn is in her second year at West Chester university and she is a theatre major with a performance concentration. This show is Katie’s 20th production, but her first virtual production. One of her recent shows includes West Chester’s production of the Visit last spring where she played the Mayor of Guellen. Previously she has performed in productions at LIttle Flower high school and a local Philly theatre group. 

Josh Acuna

Josh is a sophomore theatre major at WCU. He started acting in middle school and quickly feel in love with it. He was cast as Brad in the Rocky Horror Picture Show, as well as being cast as Hanschen in our almost spring production of Spring Awakening. He is incredibly thankful to the actors and production team that gave their all to make this the best show possible.
